Have you ever experienced dehydration?

A couple of weeks ago, I’d have answered ‘no’ to that question…or at least ‘not that I’m aware of’.  That evening I had been feeling fine, but when I got up from my desk suddenly I felt light headed, then before long very dizzy and I had a queasy stomach.  I went to bed.  Next day, and for a few days after that, I wasn’t too sick to get up, but I really didn’t feel like my usual self.  I just felt kind of sick to my stomach, and I was still feeling light headed.

During that time I went to the chiropractor, and in the course of conversation, I was telling her about my symptoms.  She said that I might be experiencing dehydration.  I hadn’t even considered that!

We talked about how dry the air is in winter when we use a wood stove for heat, and yes, my skin was quite dry.  She suggested I increase my water intake.  I said I had just heard that you could actually drink too much water.  That has never been my problem! (I’m a “tea granny’!)  She agreed that it was true that you could drink too much water, but said the problem occurs when people drink too much water in too short a time frame.  It’s hard on the kidneys.  Spreading the water intake out over the whole day is best.

AIMegaShe also recommended taking Omega-3 oil for my dry skin.  I realized I hadn’t been taking my AIMega regularly. [AIMega provides EFAs (essential fatty acids) in an organic oil blend of flax, sesame, and sunflower seeds.  Essential for healthy cells, EFA’s play a key role in many functions in the body, such as digesting food; transporting and absorbing nutrients; replenishing energy; combating inflammation; and protecting against diseases.]

She mentioned that our bodies lose electrolytes when we are dehydrated.  Again a light came on in my mind! AIM’s Peak Endurance would correct that problem, and it’s better for me than a sports drink. I’d been remiss in using that too!  I’ve been exercising on a treadmill near the woodstove, wasn’t using the humidifier, and not taking my Peak Endurance or my AIMega! Duh!

No wonder I was experiencing some of the symptoms of dehydration.  For your information, I’m including some of the information I found on the internet about dehydration.  I think you, like me, will be surprised at some of the symptoms, and may want to ask yourself if you too, need to address the issue.

For your information, I’m including an article written on AIM’s Peak Endurance by Janet Pauley, R.N., and below that article I’ll include some information I found on the internet.  I know it’s a lot of data, but if it helps someone, I’ll be happy.

AIM PEAK ENDURANCE - Compiled by Janet Pauly R.N.

AIM-PEI was impressed to write about Peak Endurance in an easy-to-read format because of a good friend’s experience. Ron, is thirty-eight years old with a family and a stressful job. In addition he coaches a teen-ager’s basketball team and his six year old son’s T-ball team and is very active in his church Ron’s problem was that he was tired all the time and felt sleep deprived no matter bow much sleep he got. Recently we gave him a jar of Peak Endurance. Since it contains ATP we were hoping that it would give him more energy. Ron said that he took it the first afternoon we gave it to him and a few hours later while walking in Walmart he felt the energy kick in. He thought it was absolutely amazing that it would work so fast. He continues to have more energy and is enjoying life much more. There are so many tired people in this world that I wanted to tell everyone I could about Peak Endurance.

Why did AIM develop Peak Endurance?

Aim had felt for some time that they could develop a sports drink that would be better in every way than those on the market. They also knew that the addition of ATP to this drink would give everyone an energy boost.

How does Peak Endurance compare with Gatorade?

Gatorade has only three minerals present while Peak Endurance has five minerals in it. Gatorade contains only sodium, potassium and chloride, while Peak Endurance contains all the electrolytes including sodium, potassium, calcium, ‘magnesium and chloride, in addition to 50% of the daily requirements of Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12. Gatorade contains 28 grams of sugar while Peak Endurance has only one gram of sugar. One 16 ounce serving, of Peak Endurance provides 30 calories compared to 100 calories in Gatorade.

So is Peak Endurance only for young ‘people and athletes?

By no means is this just a drink for the young and athletically inclined; in fact the older we get the more we need the electrolytes and ATP found in Peak Endurance. Adults of all ages can benefit from Peak Endurance, especially older people. Keep reading!

What is this ATP all about and why is it so important?

ATP stands for Adenosine Triphosphate. ATP is the primary source of energy for every function that occurs within our cells. If ATP is depleted our cells stop functioning correctly and begin to age rapidly. When this happens many diseases associated with aging and stress start occurring. Peak Endurance provides Peak ATP, the only oral source proven to elevate ATP levels in the body. This form of ATP increases energy levels without boosting heart rate. Caffeine, ginseng and ephedra products all increase heart rate which can be dangerous for people with heart problems and older people. Peak Endurance is safe for adults of all ages.

How do I know if I need additional ATP and how long does it take to work?

Researchers at the Mayo Clinic have found that DNA damage over time may cause the loss of ATP. In. fact, studies have shown that between the ages of 20 and 70 ATP levels are reduced by 50%. Several studies indicate that cardiovascular, circulatory and vascular system benefits are realized almost immediately.

What are the most important benefits of using Peak Endurance?

In addition to elevating ATP which increases energy levels and reduces fatigue, blood flow is stimulated to peripheral sites (arms, hands, legs and feet) and respiratory and cardiovascular health is supported. It boosts mental acuity and memory, which is something that most of us need! It improves muscle growth, strength and recovery for peak athletic performance. Early evidence indicates that ATP stimulates hair growth.
